Our customer, an international company group, is providing surgeons with safe biologic, metal and synthetic implants. Committed to delivering a higher standard, the implants are used in sports medicine, general surgery, spine, orthopedic and trauma procedures and are distributed in nearly 50 countries.

The Demand Planner is a newly generated position and located in one of the German subsidiaries. You will be responsible for the international demand planning (EMEA, Asia, LAM - except USA) of the Group in close cooperation with sales, marketing, operations, finance and commercial customers.

Your workplace will be near Tuttlingen in South Germany. Working from your home office is temporarily possible. You have colleagues in US and Germany and you report directly to the Global Demand Planning Manager in USA.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Attain a SKU level forecast that consistently meets or exceeds the necessary accuracy levels that result in maximizing the utilization of working capital
  • Oversees input, management, and accuracy of forecast data in SAP ERP system
  • Provide leadership and coordination for all demand planning functions, serving as a key link between sales, marketing, operations, and finance
  • Develop, document, update, and challenge the factors and assumptions supporting the demand plan. Highlight and document the assumptions around key changes to the plan during demand review meetings
  • Lead monthly demand review meeting and ensure the successful completion of the demand review process
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures that support the monthly supply review and overall consensus meetings between sales, marketing, operations, and finance
  • Interfaces with supply planners regularly to discuss key in-stock and inventory issues, focus areas for the week, etc.
  • Manages any special projects necessary to help the group meet its corporate goals and objectives

Ihr Profil

  • BS in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent education
  • Extensive experiences in direct Demand Planning
  • Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing is not a must
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Proven problem solving skills and the ability to work in a global team environment
  • Fluent in English and German
