Our client is a rapidly expanding company headquartered in Groningen, the Netherlands with offices in Munich, Germany who developed an innovative, breakthrough technology for fluorescence image-guided surgery, enabling surgeons to detect tumor tissue more accurately and thus improve outcomes. The technology platform consists of an injectable imaging agent and a highly sensitive detection device. As Senior Medical Affairs Manager (m/f/d), you will have the overview of all clinical development activities of the company and manage the creation and final review of all relevant documents.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Operate as an interface within the internal and external Clinical Working Group regarding Medical Writing, Protocol Writing and clinical/scientific documents
  • Manage all clinical development activities in close teamwork with the Clinical Trial Management, Medical Writing, Regulatory Affairs and other internal and external resources
  • Develop, implement and maintain the corporate Clinical Development Plan
  • Design clinical phase I-III trials by translating indication program goals into clinical endpoints
  • Validate and consolidate projects, the main lines of development and the budgets proposed
  • Present to management new indications and solutions as part of the corporate strategy
  • Interact with clinical partner sites to ensure high quality yet smooth trial execution
  • Input into local and international meetings
  • Report to and close cooperation with the Head of Global Medical & Regulatory Affairs

Ihr Profil

  • At least 3 years of work experience in clinical research or in industry
  • Medical Doctor with track record in oncology and / or oncological surgery is ideal
  • Diligent with document creation/review, protocol writing, medical writing
  • Experience in designing and executing clinical trials
  • Strong clinical, operational and scientific skills
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with variables / uncertainties in a new enterprise
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Good standing also towards supply / cooperation partners
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic person
  • Ability to work self-confident and team oriented
  • Fluent in English, additional languages advantageous
