Hello, with pleasure. My name is Andreas Brenner, for over 20 years I have been living with my wife, our 2 boys and our dog in the beautiful Dreisamtal near Freiburg. Privately, I am a very active person and love to be in nature, fortunately there are countless beautiful opportunities here. One of my credoes is "mens sana in corpore sano", so I like to do sports to keep myself physically and mentally fit. This can range from the gym, to football, cycling and jogging to triathlon, depending on what I feel like doing. So that my mental well-being is not neglected, I love to go out for a really good and delicious meal with my wife. Here, too, we are fortunate that there are many excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
My first professional station was financial sales and since I enjoy working with people and networking incredibly much, I have remained loyal to sales for the last 23 years, only the industries and positions have changed over time. After starting out in finance, I continued my professional career as a Sales Rep in the HealthCare sector, then moved to the dental industry as an executive and most recently worked as Business Unit Director for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland at a global player in medical technology.
Hm, good question. In fact, there are several reasons for this. During my time as a manager, I was always responsible for teams that were either newly built or further expanded. In order to find the right team members, I conducted hundreds of job interviews. For some managers, interviews feel like something that is very time-consuming and takes them away from their main tasks. For me, it was always the case that I really looked forward to job interviews. I always found it exciting - and by the way, this is still the case today, after all these years and countless conversations - to meet new people, to see this person fits into the appropriate team and what skills and talents they bring to the table. Another reason for this step is certainly that I can contribute all my experience and knowledge of personal development here. Since the beginning of my sales career, the topic of personal development has been something that has been very close to my heart, and now I have the opportunity to fully contribute it here. And last but not least, in the fall of my career, I want to build something that I do for myself after spending the past two decades building and growing organizations for global companies.
Throughout my career, I have found that things have never happened by chance, but always for a specific reason and always exactly when the time was right. I guess that's why I took this step right now, even though Mr. Faix and I have known each other for over 10 years and have been in regular contact. Since I am also a very intuitive person, it quickly became clear to me in conversations with Mr. Faix and Mr. Männlin that we have very similar ideas on many points. The fact that BESTMINDS has an excellent reputation in the market and that the values that BESTMINDS stands for resonate 100% with my own further underpinned my decision. All in all, I am very much looking forward to a successful collaboration.
