Minimally invasive and robot-assisted surgical techniques enable more precise and gentler interventions.
Both autonomous vehicles and medical robots must meet strict safety standards. Their development requires extensive testing, certification and regulatory requirements. While highly automated driver assistance systems are already a reality, medical robotics still faces ethical and safety challenges.
