The whiter the Christmas, the hotter the wires run at the Bergwacht Schwarzwald. To ensure that the operating temperature remains cool even during maximum rushes, the mountain rescue service will soon equip all vehicles with the GPS-supported fleet management system Convexis Connex.
It was with great pleasure that we presented our BESTMINDS Christmas donation 2016 on December 2 to this charitable organization, which has around 1,300 members and works 100% on a voluntary basis! There are 560 "mountain guards" who are actively involved in the organization and have performed 1,318 assignments in the past year. With the new system, the volunteer rescuers can now help even faster in emergency calls and hand patients over to ambulances or helicopters without delay.
