The DKOU is the most important German and Europe-wide largest congress in the field of orthopaedics and trauma surgery. This year the DKOU will take place from 22 to 25 October in Berlin. 1800 presentations from science and research await you on 6000 sqm industrial space at the top congress.

The topics of DKOU 2019 are strongly influenced by challenges of data protection, digitisation and scientific progress. The Professional Association for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery reports on how important it is to find a "solid balance between knowledge and values" in order "to have more time available for patients and to further optimize care". Solution examples would be "Apps, telemedicine, virtual further training and a digital patient file networked across sectors". The congress offers a platform for the 11000 expected participants to exchange expert knowledge.
