For the first time, the business magazine brand eins, in collaboration with the market research institute Statista, has systematically examined which recruitment consultancies in Germany rank among the top tier. As part of the “Best Consultants 2026” issue (Issue 33, March 2026) of brand eins, 194 recruitment consultancies in Germany were recognized. Among these distinguished firms, which were particularly frequently recommended by clients, candidates, and industry peers throughout the DACH region, is BESTMINDS Executive Search GmbH, headquartered in Freiburg im Breisgau.
The ranking is based neither on self-nominations nor on marketing budgets. For the study, Statista surveyed over 4,500 experts from the fields of executive search, human resources, and recruiting, as well as candidates who were placed by executive search firms. In total, more than 18,000 recommendations were included in the analysis. Those appearing on the list of top firms were placed there solely based on the assessments of others, not on their own claims.
